Fred Guyton was a talented architect and a great connoisseur of automobile development. His classic car collection with a focus on pre-war cars was widely known. Guyton passed away in 2018, and on May 4 and 5, 2019, RM/Sotheby's auctioned his collection, which included over 60 automobiles. Over USD 10 million was paid for 61 cars, an average of USD 168,230. The entire collection was sold without minimum prices, so there were also some bargains to be had. However, some Rolls-Royces and Duesenbergs were also sold for significantly more than their estimated value. This report summarizes the results, analyses the prices achieved and shows pictures of all the cars.
