On July 12, 2023, another 27 cars from the "Carrera Collection" came under the RM/Sotheby's hammer at Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan, after the first 53 vehicles from the extensive collection had already been auctioned in Langenthal ( Switzerland ) on July 7, 2023 . Only a handful of the cars that were sold at Corso Venezia 16 bore the "Carrera" lettering on the car. As in Langenthal, all vehicles were offered without a reserve price. On average, EUR 135,333 was bid (and EUR 155,106 paid), meaning that the bids exceeded the estimated prices by almost 10 % on average. In Langenthal, the estimated prices were even exceeded by an average of 18 %, but it is more common at auctions for the highest bids to land at 85 or 90 % of the average estimated values.
