RM/Sotheby's was also forced to find an alternative due to the cancellation of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elégance. From August 10 to August 15, 2020, 109 classic cars (including two motorcycles) were therefore auctioned online. However, it didn't come cheap: on average, the vehicles, which were 53 years old on average, were valued at USD 491,000. 70 percent of the vehicles were sold for a total of USD 30 million. However, the sales rate for the most valuable 20 cars was only 55 percent. Nevertheless, a new online record was set with a Ferrari 550 GT1 Prodrive, which sold for USD 4.29 million. This auction report analyzes the results in detail and shows the vehicles in pictures.
