Summary
It has probably never been this warm at an autumn auction at the Oldtimer Galerie in Toffen. Thanks to the early date, many visitors were able to arrive in their own classic cars and the good weather also had a positive effect on the bidding mood. Over two thirds of the cars on offer were sold, with the highest prices achieved by a Jaguar XK140, a Fiat Dino 2400 Spider and a BMW Z8. This auction report provides an insight into the event, analyzes the results and shows cars and results in detail.
This article contains the following chapters

Preview (beginning of the article)
It has probably never been this warm at an autumn auction at the Oldtimer Galerie in Toffen. The fact that it was more than a month earlier than usual certainly contributed to this. In fact, it was almost 20 degrees outside, so it was no wonder that people had to be persuaded to swap their warm garden chair for a seat at the auction. But the offer that Reinhard Schmidlin and his team had put together was impressive. It contained not only 12 BMWs (including two Alpina variants), but also some special bodies, hot sports cars and, above all, an unusually large number of young and newtimers. 28 cars were less than 30 years old, the average age of all cars was 41 years.
