47 cars were offered by Gooding & Co as part of the online format "Geared Online" from May 3 to 7, 2021. The average value of the 53-year-old cars was estimated at around USD 18 million. 47% of the vehicles went under the virtual hammer without a reserve price. On average, 77% of the median estimate was bid, yet 94% of the vehicles were sold for a total of USD 16.1 million. This means that USD 366,625 (EUR 300,633, CHF 329,963) was paid per car, which is impressive for an online-only auction. The 47 cars were spread across 20 brands, with Porsche being the most strongly represented with seven cars and Mercedes-Benz with six.
