Gooding & Co conducted the traditional Scottsdale auction purely online between January 24 and 28, 2022. On offer were 57 cars with an average age of 58 years, estimated together at USD 8.6 million. 84 percent of the vehicles were sold, with bids ranging from 32 to 244 percent of the median estimate. As expected, a Maserati 5000 GT sold for the highest price, while some super classics were disappointing. On the other hand, there were some positive surprises among American makes.
