Summary
The Geneva Motor Show has been a meeting place for the automotive industry for many decades. Many new products are presented here, and nowhere is the density of concept vehicles and future studies greater than in Geneva. From March 8 to 18, 2018, a special show with designer visions and special bodies from seven decades was added, which also provided a glimpse into the past, as did many of the classic cars on display. This report takes the reader on a virtual salon retreat and shows many of the old (and in some cases new) cars on display in over 200 images.

However, at the 88th Geneva Motor Show, open from March 8 to 18, 2018, the major manufacturers only exceptionally showed their old cars, with Renault being the only exception.
