Even in 2016, tradition is not the focus of the Geneva Motor Show, even though we could actually be celebrating 130 years of the automobile. But the world we live in today demands sensations, showpieces and innovations. And that is exactly what Geneva offers. Nowhere is the density of super sports car studies greater than at the Geneva Motor Show. The fact that a few old cars managed to sneak in between the world firsts and concept cars is summarized in this report, which looks at the show from a historical perspective. 75 years of Jeep celebrates the Chrysler-Fiat group mask, which laid the foundations for an extremely successful 4x4 history with the Willys-Overland MB in 1941 and paved the way for modern SUVs with the Wagoneer and Cherokee models.
