Photo Gallery «Geneva Motor Show 1976 - Evolution and optimization in detail»
The 46th Geneva Motor Show, open from March 11 to 21, 1976, attracted almost half a million visitors to the city on the Rhone. They were mainly offered improved models, while the genuine innovations were relatively few and far between. However, with the Bertone Navajo, the BMW 6 Series Coupé, the Mercedes 200-280E series, the Lancia Gamma and a few other premieres, there was plenty to report on for the 1,700 or so journalists who traveled to Geneva. This motor show review highlights the important new products, the stand presences and the environment of the time and shows the show in over 120 historical illustrations.
