On November 27, the popular classic car auction took place once again in Toffen, attracting around 1,000 visitors despite the bad weather. 129 vehicles were auctioned off, around half of which changed hands in the auction, with prices ranging from CHF 2,600.00 (for a 1965 Citroën 2 CV in need of restoration) to CHF 1,000,000.00 (for a 1927 Bugatti Type 43 Grand Sport, renegotiations still open). Results in detail (selection): These examples show that rare and exceptional vehicles can still achieve high prices, but that bargains are also always possible at auctions. The successful auction of a 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible, the proceeds of which went to the DENK AN MICH foundation , is certainly a nice story. The car was donated by a benefactor. The foundation thus received CHF 32,000.00.
