For the first time, Bonhams held an auction on the occasion of the Zoute Grand Prix Rally and Concours d'Elégance in the fashionable town of Knokke-Le-Zoute in Belgium. The focus of the auction on October 11, 2013 was on European vehicles. The tent was packed when the auction began, and Bonhams could not complain about the lack of interest. 45 vehicles (including a boat) went under the hammer. The Bonhams people must have been less happy with the sales rate of around 60% than with the sales records that were celebrated. A total of EUR 1.53 million or CHF 1.89 million was realized, and on average the cars sold for 94% of the average estimated price, a good result.
