The Zoute auction has been part of Bonhams' annual auction program for many years. On October 6, 2024, 69 cars and a motorcycle as well as various automobilia and children's cars went under the hammer at the Zoute Grand Prix. The 69 cars had been estimated in advance at around EUR 25.5 million. At 43 (62%) vehicles, a comparatively high proportion were offered without a reserve price, but this obviously did not affect the result at all. In fact, interested parties bid an average of 102% of the median estimate. However, the swings were considerable. The fact that the bidders were so enthusiastic is testament to the quality of the offer that Philip Kantor and his team had put together.
