The Bonhams auction in Oxford on March 8, 2014 was not a fancy-pants get-together for the top ten thousand, but an auction in which a wide range of automobilia and vehicles in the most varied of conditions came under the hammer. In the first part of the auction, there were brochures, books, photos, emblems, illuminated signs and even a Michelin man up for grabs. After that, it was the turn of spare parts and radiator figures, and some lots went to new owners for four-digit pound sums. From lot 201 onwards, 59 vehicles (and two trailers) were auctioned, 11 of which had no reserve price. The offer was dominated by English brands, but fans of Italian, German, American or French automobiles were also able to find what they were looking for.
