Bonhams offered 101 vehicles at the Greenwich Concours d'Elégance on June 2, 2019. Only just under half of the total value of the vehicles (USD 10.4 million) was realized, with a sales rate of 72 percent. Many cars that were offered without a reserve price had to be knocked down, in some cases well below the estimated value. Good for the buyer, bad for the consignor. This included a surprisingly large number of muscle cars, some of which came into new hands for surprisingly low prices. This auction article analyzes the results and shows pictures of some of the vehicles sold.
