It was not the usual selection of super classics that you usually see at auctions. Bonhams had put together a very special selection on March 20, 2016 on the occasion of the Goodwood Member Meeting, as the 99 lots included two fighter planes, a boat, a scooter and two horse-drawn carriages as well as a license plate, in keeping with the airfield on the Goodwood circuit. And it was precisely the latter that attracted surprisingly high bids, while some of the cars could be bought cheaply, as this auction report summarizes.
