On the occasion of the annual Beaulieu weekend, Bonhams also organizes an auction and, in keeping with the occasion, it is not so much the high-gloss classics that go under the hammer, but veritable restoration projects. However, it is not just DIY enthusiasts who are helped, but also collectors who like to buy restored vehicles that are ready to drive. As always, a significant proportion of the 78 car lots on offer were vehicles in condition 4 or 5, i.e. genuine restoration projects. High prices were paid for some of these "barnfinds" and future hourly graves, such as around 25,000 euros of the 27,000 francs for a 1968 Triumph TR5.
