78 vehicles, including a motorcycle and a Vespa sidecar, went under the hammer at Bonhams in Amelia Island on February 29, 2024. Of the estimated value of USD 17.7 million, USD 6.7 million was realized, 33% of the cars were left standing, including some more expensive examples. A Stutz and an Aston Martin DB6 sold much better than expected, but there were also some real bargains on Amelia Island. This auction review analyzes the results and shows the cars in pictures.

On the afternoon of February 29, 2024, Bonhams auctioned 78 vehicles, including a Vespa sidecar and a motorcycle, at the Concours d'Elégance Amelia Island. A total of USD 17.7 million was estimated for all vehicle lots, but only USD 6.7 million was realized. 67% of the vehicles were sold for an average of USD 129,318, 33% went under the hammer without a reserve price. Vehicles from 32 brands were looking for new owners on February 29, 2024; on average, they were around 56 years old. Porsche was most strongly represented (13 cars), followed by Mercedes-Benz (9) and Ferrari and Jaguar (5 each).
