Auctionata had come up with something new and held the auction on September 10, 2016 at the Magna Racino harness racing track in Ebreichsdorf, around 30 minutes from Vienna. The auction was hosted by TV journalist Christian Clerici, who was supported by three other car experts, including the beautiful Lina van de Mars, which certainly made the presentation much more colorful. The title chosen was "1000 Horsepower", but the auctioneers lost the most valuable horse, a Ferrari 250 GT Ellena converted into a Tour de France, prematurely due to legal disputes (the lot was withdrawn). This left 38 vehicles that went under the hammer.
