On May 20, 2016, Auctionata auctioned off vehicles worth EUR 1.2 million from its studio in Berlin. The offer, which consisted exclusively of post-war vehicles, also included some classic cars and a motorcycle. The called bids were sufficient for just 16 knockdowns, seven vehicles were sold with no ifs and buts and a further nine with reservations. A vehicle that one might not have expected turned out to be the star of the evening. The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit station wagon from 1983 sold for EUR 34,500 instead of the expected EUR 20,000. The "Magnum" Ferrari 308 GTS from 1979 with only 65,422 km was also sold to a new owner for EUR 66,125, just below the estimate.
