Fritz Neuser was known far beyond the borders of Bavaria and even Germany. He had started out with nothing after the war and worked his way up to become a friend and acquaintance of many famous people. He started with bike racing because it gave him a bike for free. After the end of his active cycling career, which had brought him many race victories and titles, he became a car dealer. An Alfa Romeo dealership, which he made famous through his involvement in motor racing, was eventually followed by a Ferrari dealership. Now over 90 years old, Neuser decided to sell part of his car collection and many memorabilia and parts and entrusted Artcurial with the job.
