Summary
The Alfa Romeo brand museum was reopened in Milan/Arese in June 2015. Housed in the old factory core, around 70 of the approximately 150 vehicles in the factory's inventory are on display in the newly built exhibition concept. From the Alfasud to the 6C 1750 or the Alfetta 159, almost everything that has made the Alfa Romeo brand so famous and legendary can be seen here. This museum report takes you through the exhibition on three levels and shows many of the exhibits in around 100 pictures.

There are few manufacturers with such a long and highly regarded company tradition. The Alfa Romeo brand has 105 years of history and in almost all eras the brand has manufactured products of absolute superlatives, cars with a unique aura of Italian design art. Alfa Romeo vehicles inspire dreams and immediately cast a spell over the observer. Even the everyday cars have that certain something, the luxury coupés, the stately limousines, the extreme sports and racing cars anyway. Hardly any other brand represents the Italian design language as broadly and consistently as Alfa Romeo. Fortunately, Alfa Romeo had the foresight early on (since the 1960s) to collect its cars at a time when it was still possible to pay for them. The treasures of the Alfa Museum have been open to the public since 1976. Unfortunately, the museum had to be closed in 2011 after production was halted. All the museum vehicles were put into an artificial deep sleep. Due to the financial problems, the sale of the vehicles was even considered in order to raise some money for the continued existence of the brand.
