The AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix took place for the 42nd time from August 8 to 10, 2014, in changeable weather conditions and in front of enthusiastic fans. Several hundred top-class vehicles showed what historic racing is all about in 13 races and demonstration drives. There were also surprises, with Michael Schumacher's world champion Benetton making an unexpected appearance. This event report describes impressions, results and highlights.
