Summary
In 1982, Porsche drove the new 956 to a 1-2-3 victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This report summarizes the events and describes some of the participating vehicles, supplemented by an extensive picture gallery.

Half of the starting field were brand-new vehicles, which was due to the fact that the new Group C and therefore 26 such vehicles were permitted due to changes in the regulations.
