Although the weather did not cooperate, the 3rd International Klausen Race Memorial was a success. Participants and spectators alike were hardly affected by the rain. The highlights were Auto Union and Mercedes, but also the various Alfas and three-wheeled Morgans. Due to the neutralization of the intermediate section at Urnerboden, no new best times were achieved, which was partly due to the bad weather. Nevertheless, the event was a great success with an estimated 30,000 spectators.
