Peter Gethin died at the age of 71 in December 2011. He celebrated his greatest racing success in 1971 at the Monza GP, which he won by a narrow margin after a thrilling slipstream battle. This report looks back and shows Peter Gethin in 1971 and in 2000 on the Monza race track.
