The 1956 Mille Miglia, one of the most dangerous road races ever, ended with six fatalities and a five-way Ferrari victory. Castellotti won in a Ferrari 290 MM, while fourth place went to Juan-Manuel Fangio in the same model. The latter vehicle will be offered at an auction in New York at the end of 2015 and is expected to set a new price record.
