Photo Gallery «Tradition and automotive heritage at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show»
Less homage was paid to automotive tradition at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show than in other years. A pity, really, because the shapes are extremely attractive and probably quite a few of the visitors to the show would describe the 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato as the most beautiful car at this year's show, or perhaps the 1961 Jaguar E-Type? There was also a Simplex to see at the Mercedes-Benz stand, the Mephistopheles car at the Fiat stand, the Lehner-Porsche Hybrid at Porsche and an AC Bristol at Cobra builder Gullwing. Renault could only be warmed up for half a Renault R4L from 1961, which was held somewhat sadly above the banister. The rest was tradition on screens and computer monitors. Let the pictures do the talking!
