It was actually assumed that many classic car and youngtimer drivers would already start their last outing around October 12, 2019 and therefore the date for the end of the season was set accordingly, but the weather was more reminiscent of late summer than autumn or even winter.

A cozy get-together
The mode was very simple. Drivers of cars at least 20 years old could register, parking was provided and from 10:00 they and their co-drivers could enjoy the extensive brunch buffet. Around 200 people were catered for and sooner or later every seat was taken.

The Jenson Jazzband provided background music, while photos of the 2019 classic car season were shown in the background.

The convivial get-together naturally led to cheerful shop talk and nostalgic reviews.

Some participants responded to the organizers' request to dress historically, a great splash of color for the event.
Classic cars and youngtimers of all ages
In the parking lots, meanwhile, you could admire cars from practically every decade from the 1920s onwards.

One person liked the Chrysler Airflow, another was enthusiastic about a Ferrari Testarossa. From the bread-and-butter car of the post-war period to the one-off from the hand of Giovanni Michelotti, everything was there. And was eagerly admired and discussed.

Regularly from now on?
Stephan Vögeli from the Emil Frey Classics Center already hinted in his short speech that a repeat event is quite conceivable, perhaps even as a season-opening brunch?
