On July 23 and 24, 2011, sports cars and racing cars from the past competed at the Solitude Revival 2011 near Stuttgart to drive the original race track at Schloss Solitude once again. Many vehicles that had been there 50 or more years ago could be admired and seen driving again. A feast for the eyes and ears. There were many rarities in the field of sports cars and prototypes: Porsche 550 RS and Spyder, Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, Talbot T26 GS Le Mans, Ferrari 500 Mondial Spider, Ferrari 250 LM, Cooper Monaco, Maserati Birdcage, the Grosse Werkmeister, etc. David Piper's Porsche 917, the Ferrari 330 P4, Porsche 908 Spyder, Porsche 910, Porsche 956 and a number of other prototypes illustrated the period after 1965.
