On July 23 and 24, 2011, sports cars and racing cars from the past competed at the Solitude Revival 2011 near Stuttgart to drive the original race track at Schloss Solitude once again. Many vehicles that had been there 50 or more years ago could be admired and seen driving again. A feast for the eyes and ears. Among the GT and touring cars up to 1965, some rarely seen vehicles drove their laps on the Solitude circuit: Alfa Romeo Giuliette SV Zagato, Abarth 205 Berlinetta, Alfa Romeo 1900 SS or Porsche 356 A Carrera are just as much a part of automotive home cooking as the round of Abarth vehicles or the small-capacity rarities of the ilk of a DKW AU 1000, Fiat 1100, Renault Dauphine Gordini, BMW 700 Coupé, NSU Prinz II 30 or FMR TG 500, which again formed a special category in 2011, similar to 1959.
