Summary
Unfortunately, things are not going well for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga at the moment, but Bremen is always number one at German classic car fairs: the season starts in the north. From January 30 to February 1, the Bremen Classic Motorshow did not offer the usual trade fair program of club stands, dealer appearances and a sales parking lot, but also an unexpectedly topical special exhibition.

Snow and ice have had northern Germany in their grip almost continuously since the beginning of the year. So it seemed like wise foresight to dedicate this year's special show at the Bremen Classic Motorshow to the theme of "Driving dynamics at the limit - 4 x 4 performance". On the large area in the central Hall 5, the exhibition organizers had put numerous horsepower with four wheels on the floor and put together impressive exhibits, which - traditionally for Bremen - were good for a few surprises. An outstanding example: the only Toyota 222D in existence outside Japan. This black cannonball is a rally car according to Group S regulations, which was supposed to replace Group B in 1987, but was scrapped before the first race due to safety concerns. The Toyota was supposed to produce 600 hp from the 2.2-liter turbo four-cylinder engine.
