Assar Gabrielsson created a Swedish automotive industry out of nothing - a car with a five-year warranty! This test was not actually part of hobby's planning. It 'fell into our laps', so to speak. Hand on heart: how many of our hobby readers - unless they live abroad - have ever heard of this Scandinavian car? In the course of vehicle development, we have automatically become accustomed to slightly underestimating the unknown car-producing countries alongside the 'great powers' of automobile construction - the USA, England, Germany, France and Italy. However, on a trip to Scandinavia we were able to see for ourselves that this is a premature judgment, at least in the case of Sweden.
