Photo Gallery «Test Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Giulietta TI (ZQ)»
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Giulietta TI were subjected to intensive testing in the "AR" long-distance tests No. 96 and 97. Summary: performance and driving characteristics of thoroughbred cars combined with features of economical utility vehicles. Or in more detail: "With the Giulietta saloon and especially with the faster TI version, Alfa Romeo has brought a car onto the market that combines the not easily definable characteristics of a true thoroughbred with the more prosaic features of a four- to five-seater everyday vehicle. The Giulietta is undoubtedly not a car for the average driver, for whom the absolute minimum in operating and maintenance costs is the most important thing. However, if you have high demands in terms of driving characteristics, driving style, performance and safety and are not satisfied with the usual mass-produced vehicle, you can fulfill your wishes in the Giulietta without having to make sacrifices in terms of interior space, fuel consumption and everyday use. Even if the Giulietta requires a little more care and maintenance than the unpretentious average car, in its current form it has nevertheless reached a genuine level of practicality. Its special features are not as easy to quantify as the difference between its selling price and that of other cars in the same size class, as they are mainly due to the technical complexity rather than the design of the bodywork. Even with the small Giulietta, the factory makes no compromises when it comes to high performance and driving safety. This means that connoisseurs who do not want to miss out on the subtle qualities of the thoroughbred sports car in their economical family car will be particularly enthusiastic about this interesting model."
