Photo Gallery «Simca dream car Fulgur - back when today was still tomorrow»
In 1958, the Simca car company presented its vision of a dream car for the future, called the "Fulgur" (Lightning). The compact vehicle embodied the entire belief in the future of the time. Exhibited at motor shows and at the center of enthusiastic press reports, the Fulgur caused a sensation for a short time, then disappeared into oblivion again and even today, over 50 years later, much of what was envisaged back then is still pure dreams of the future or else material that makes us laugh. This report describes the Fulgur on the basis of press reports and documents from the time and shows the vehicle of the future in many historical photographs.
