The Simca 1100 has been built since 1968, the model generation in this test since August 1974. The focus is on the LX, a pop-decorated luxury variant of the cheapest two-door LS, which was intended to revive interest in the entire model series. This test report from back then describes what the fashionable special model had to offer compared to other variants of the 1100 model series.
