Photo Gallery «Porsche 356 1600 S in the (historical test) - A true sports car above the norm»
In 1960, 75 hp was enough for the Porsche 356 to achieve a top speed of over 170 km/h and the label of being a real sports car. The car from Zuffenhausen was not cheap, but thanks to high-quality production and a lot of precision work on the technology, it was worth the money, according to the test drivers of the time. This article reproduces the wording of the test report, which is now over 60 years old, unaltered, supplemented by historical photographs from the time.
