Photo Gallery «Opel Lotus Omega - Biedermann and arsonist»
At a quick glance, an Opel Lotus Omega hardly looks any different from its sedan counterparts from Rüsselsheim, but under the hood sits a twin-turbo six-cylinder engine with 377 hp, which takes the four-door car to 200 km/h faster than almost the entire sports car elite of the time. This put the six-figure price into perspective, but could not prevent the Opel from being misunderstood by everyone. This driving report tells the development history of the model, of which fewer than 1000 were built, and describes driving impressions from today, illustrated with many pictures.
