On the Opel Corsa A, with which the Rüsselsheim-based company entered the market for modern small cars rather late in 1982, nothing was as striking as its flared fenders, which made it look powerful even with 45 hp. With the 100 hp GSi, however, the driving performance also matched the muscular appearance.
