Summary
From 1964 to 1981, Mercedes-Benz produced the top-of-the-range 600 saloon primarily for heads of state, diplomats and prominent (and wealthy) people for whom only the best was good enough. Launched in 1963, the "Grand Mercedes" was brimming with innovative technology and luxury comfort. Even 50 years later, its qualities are still impressive. This driving report describes the Mercedes-Benz 600 and shows it in over 120 current and historical photos and illustrations as well as in the contemporary sales brochure.
