Summary
MG is a well-known brand; almost everyone who is interested in old cars is familiar with the MGA or MGB models. This article contains the following chapters
- Greater proximity to Group products
- Introduction of a mid-range model
- Lots of comfort
- The special VA from coachbuilder

Although Cecil Kimber was primarily interested in sporting success, he also built limousines and everyday cars. In 1935, Kimber sold MG to Morris Motors and from then on a completely different wind blew. The Nuffield Group, to which Morris belonged, was primarily concerned with efficiency and financial success; racing counted for little, especially as Lord Nuffield had little interest in it anyway.
