The Jaguar Mark 2 neither followed contemporary fashion trends nor could it be clearly categorized. It could be as fast as a sports car, but could also transport passengers in great comfort and without stress. Although this Jaguar was not entirely without its weaknesses, the enthusiasm of the test drivers for the four-door cat can still be understood in the historical test report from the time.
