At the beginning of the sixties, the Glas Coupé S 1004 was a new contribution to the one-liter class, offered as an affordable coupé and cabriolet. Due to its sporty character with a completely new and interesting ohc four-cylinder engine, the article was also of great interest to the specialist press. Motor Rundschau carried out a major test of the innovative coupé and put it through its paces. This report reproduces the original wording of the test report from 1962, supplemented by many pictures and contemporary sales literature.
