The Fiat 850 Spider was one of the most successful sports cars of its era. It was built by Bertone and this offered opportunities for special versions. One of these was the Bertone Racer Berlinetta, basically a Spider with a fixed tin roof. This was particularly popular in the USA, but also made many friends in Germany. However, only a few have survived. This driving report describes the development history of the Bertone Racer and shows it in historical and current pictures.
