At the end of 1969, British Leyland added the Austin/Morris 1300 GT to the ADO16 series. 68 hp did not turn the compact family car into a racing car, but it did make it a touring car suitable for long distances. You could overlook the weaknesses ... if you were an individualist. This article reproduces the wording of the historical test report and shows the car in many pictures and brochures from back then.
