But what happened in the seven years before that is enough to dedicate an article to the Aston Martin Virage prototype disguised as a Lagonda Series 2.

Surprisingly often, we read about lost prototypes that have suddenly reappeared in the most remote places in the world in the most impossible ways. Or of previously unknown test vehicles that have been in the hands of an ignorant everyday driver for decades. Until they were discovered by chance by a collector and bought from the unsuspecting owner for a pittance. In the case of the dark blue wedge, which looks like a Lagonda Series 2 Coupé, things are different. Here you know exactly where it has been for the last 30 years and what it is: namely not a Lagonda Series 2 Coupé. At least not in terms of product planning, although technically it is.
