Summary
From 1954 to 1965, Alfa Romeo built around 33,000 of the Giulietta Sprint Coupé and its successor, the Giulia. Only around 500 to 600 of these were Veloce models with a lightweight body in combination with the 1.3-liter engine and 90 hp. Back then, they were good for countless class victories in motor racing and today this version guarantees high prices. This report tells the story of the special Giulietta Sprint version and shows it and other variants in current and historical images.

The original plan was to present the four-door saloon, but it turned out that development had not progressed as quickly as planned. It was also announced that the preparation of the presses for the bodies of the touring car would take even longer.
