In 1976, the Alfa Romeo company invited German motoring journalists on a large scale again after a long time to take a closer look at the new Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint. The 'hobby' editorial team also took part and thanked them with an entertaining test report. This article reproduces the original wording of the test at the time and shows the Alfasud Sprint in almost 30 historical pictures and in the sales brochure from back then.

The colleague was irritated: "Well, I drive my Opel Rekord at 160 km/h all the time, and I'm fine with that." He tries to finger the test placard on the Alfasud Sprint with a flurry of movements. "Always these air bubbles," he shakes his head, "at least it has to come out well in the photo afterwards." The colleague had to know, "after all, I'm a photographer," he said, got into the new car and started the incredibly dynamic joyride in third gear. "I don't know why they sent me here, because I really don't know anything about cars. But it will be enough for us. After all, we're just a TV guide." There was a harsh click in the gearbox as he tried to shift from third gear back into what he thought was first.
