The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport Figoni Coupé 1933 with chassis number 121215054 also took part in the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2012 in category C "The Art of Streamlining". The car was recently restored to its original condition after many years of wearing a racing car body, or rather the (tinkered with) original body in the wrong color. And the owner, who had seen it drive as a schoolboy, does not want to put it in a museum, but rather use it on the road. For a long time, the Alfa Romeo 6C was overshadowed by its big brother, the 8C. However, the version with the smaller engine also served as the basis for many coachbuilders. The 6C 1750 was introduced in 1929 as the successor to the 6C 1500 and very quickly developed from a relatively simple road car into a serious racing car. Behind it was the Alfa Romeo racing driver and vice-racing manager Enzo Ferrari, who brought the talented designer Vittorio Jano from Fiat to Alfa.
