The Enzmann family (Enzmann 506) produced around 700 wooden Jeep models in 1946. As the family sold many Jeep vehicles to local farmers, they had a close relationship with the ingenious vehicle. Today, Kari Enzmann and his family recreate the Willys according to the same plans (approx. 1:17) on the old tools using Swiss wood in Switzerland. All models are unique and may differ from one another. Jeep and the Enzmann family Shortly after the war (1945), the Enzmann family imported 60 Jeeps to Entlebuch, where they were converted and sold to farmers as utility vehicles. Kari's father brought the vehicles from Geneva to Schüpfheim at weekends with fellow students (which was always a big party). His grandfather then organized actual presentation days on which the Jeeps demonstrated their capabilities in front of the assembled clientele. As his grandfather also owned a cinema in Schüpfheim in addition to the hotel and the Adler garage, the "advertising films" were shown there. After a short time, a closed driver's cab was also offered for the Jeep (for the harsh winter days in the Entlebuch).
