Photo Gallery «DKW - The dead live longer (book review)»
More than 50 years ago, DKW production came to an end with the discontinuation of Munga production for the German army. The two-stroke principle upheld by DKW had reached its limits. The company was practically at the end of its tether, and rescue came from Mercedes and Volkswagen. But the brand has not been forgotten. It is now being recalled once again by DKW and Auto Union expert Frank Rönicke, who has revisited the history of DKW. This book review explains whether Rönicke was successful and who the book is aimed at.
